100 Years of Bice

A century of excellence and tradition in the heart of Milan

1926

Bice Mungai left the countryside of Tuscany and opened an osteria in Via San Pietro all’Orto in Milan.

Today, a century later,
that original vision still lives on,
guided by the passion
of granddaughters Beatrice and Roberta Ruggeri, alongside the Chef Vincenzo Mazzone

In 1939
the move
to Via Borgospesso
established the restaurant
as an elite “salon”
of Milan.

But the future is already on the move:
Amber, Alexander
and Andrea,
children of Beatrice and Roberta,
represent
the fourth generation
of this extraordinary
family adventure.

2026

A century of Bice. A century of us

In a changing world, this restaurant remains a rare example of continuity.

For a hundred years it has been in the hands of the same family, witness and protagonist of Italian excellence.
And as Milan evolves, its gastronomic heart continues to beat fast, where it all began.
